I have been to Bliss before, and had a fabulous experience, with being Pregnant, I really wanted to treat my Skin to a good Facial, the team at Bliss recommended their Famous “Triple Oxygen Facial” a facial, I had heard alot about.

Bliss Spa

Before your facial you are taken to the ‘waiting area’ is a nice small comfy room, its here where you fill out a form, which the Therapist reads before the facial, my facial (Triple Oxygen) is their most popular in all the Bliss Spa’s World Wide which is an all-around complexion reviver and includes intensive cleansing, exfoliating, a fruit acid wash, a pre-extraction oxygen wrap, the necessary extractions, a calming oxygen and milk mask, hydrating enzyme pack and vitaminised oxygen spray, It is suitable for all skin types.

The facial begins with the usual cleansing and exfoliating you would expect from most spa’s, combined with a neck and shoulder massage.
Then the fruit acid wash is applied and it’s a strange sensation which makes you feel the wash working, if that makes sense, After this a hot towel was placed over my face in order to open the pores and make the extractions easier, during this time I had a wonderful hand and arm massage which I was not expecting.

My therapist then placed a very bright light over my face so she could clearly see my skin and began the extractions, which was mainly on my nose, it didn’t hurt like some spa’s I have been too, I would describe it as mildy uncomfortable at times but totally tolerable, my face was then calmed with a delicious honey and milk mask followed by the triple oxygen energizing mask which ‘delivers oxygen to the skin which brightens, lightens, and tightens the skin with the most active powerful form of Vitamin C available, what I loved was the fizzing sensation on the skin, like little bubbles popping, it felt weirdly good.
Then another mask was put onto my face, and removed with a hot towel, then my face was treated to the vitamin oxygen spray. The spray was lovely, cool and calming.
After the facial I had no redness from the extractions which was a pleasant suprise, there is nothing worse than walking through the lobby of the W Hotel with a bright red nose, thankfully I didn’t need too, my skin was certainly clean, refreshed and glowing after the treatment, I do recommend it.
It is pricey, however the ambiance, experience and final results make it worth the price.
The Facial lasted 75 minutes, and the price is QR 790.00.

I just want to also add that after the Facial, you are not rushed out the door, you can relax in the dressing area, take advantage of the lovely lotions, have access to hairdryers, incase you shower, this is an aspect that I like about Bliss, its chilled out.
