Just Blow Dry – Review

It’s only been open for the past 2 days, however ‘Just Blow Dry’ is already proving to be popular.
Based down at The Pearl Qatar, this chic new salon is airy, bright and a breath of fresh air.

The salon itself has 2 sections, the first houses NAILS which many of you know is a very popular branch of nail salons, and the other section ‘Just Blow Dry’.

I started off in Nails and went for an ‘Express’ Manicure & Pedicure, the first thing that caught my eye was the immense selection of polishes available, I was in my element, with such a fab range to choose from.
I decided to go for the VINYLUX Weekly Polish, which I actually have not tried yet, I went for the brightest pinky red I could find, Winter has ended and I wanted a lush pop of colour, I had two lovely technicians working on me, and the end result left me with happy soft feet, and neat and tidy nails.

Next I moved into the BD section, where you walk through a glam mirrored corridor, in this section, you have the choice of eight BD style to choose from to suit every occasion, these include, BD Beach Waves, BD Braids, BD Curls, BD Half Up Do, BD Half Waves, BD Straight, BD Up Do, and BD Volume.
I opted for a BD Straight but before the Blow Dry, I went for some treatments for my hair.
As a lover of Kerastase, I was so happy to see these on the Treatment Menu, my stylist discussed with me first, what I disliked about my hair, how I feel with the condition and what I generally wanted, since my hair is coloured, its slighty dry, but not too much, I mainly wanted shine, I find the water here, really dulls my hair.
Based on what I said, the stylist recommended what treatments would suit my needs.
I started with a pre shampoo which gives nutrition to the hair, then Concentré Vita-Ciment which gives an instant strengthening and repairing treatment, then a delicious mask with 4 oils which smelled divine!
Inbetween I had a head massage which made me fall asleep, blissfull!

Next was the Blowdry, it was fast and very good, straight, with a touch of volume, just the way I asked, my hair itself was left with a lovely glossy sheen, thanks to the treatments, and the ends felt smoother and generally softer.

I also want to mention that they offer an ‘Express’ Makeup service too, which next time I will try, especially if I have an event, there are 3 services which are, Day, Evening & Night Makeup.
They also have a wide range of products for sale, which include the fabulous EOS Lipbalms, which I absolutely love, and an Organic range from Bahrain called ‘Green Bar’ I could have stayed there another hour just to browse all the goodies.

The address is mentioned above, it is located on the entrance of La Croisette 20, I do not recall seeing any stores next door to it, sorry, best call them, and they can advise better.
