Mountains, Tree’s & Air

By  |  3 Comments

I have not been able to post for a few days, my vacation is pretty much non stop, and so active with my 2 crazy boys.
Yesterday was spent in the mountains, amongst the most beautiful of tree’s and the freshest of air.
It makes you realise when you visit a place like this, just how much you miss being close to nature, we really lack greenery in Qatar.

I seriously went back to being a kid, running around the forest, jumping around, having fun, its actually the most alive and healthy I have felt in sometime, it must have been the air.

We were invited by a Local Family who run a Tea Business, it was lovely to meet new people, and for my kids to play with theirs, they treated us to a hearty homemade meal of Rice & Duck, which was comforting and just what we needed, the clouds were low which gave a crisp chill to the air.

Here are some of my favourite pictures of the day, and a little bit more personal than what I usually post.

The first thing I did this day, was to drink the sweet nectar from this pretty flower, the taste was divine.

This tree was amazing, and has grown and bent to reach the sun, my oldest loved it.
