My 10 day homemade soup diet

Two weeks ago, I decided to embark on a homemade soup diet, not only to lose potential pounds, but to eat clean for a few days, there are so many sweet temptations in Doha, that you can get carried away eating sugar loaded food, this was a fun healthy challenge!

I did some research before I started, and I worked out, that I could lose a potential 4 – 6kg by eating homemade soup for Lunch & Dinner, and for Breakfast stick to Natural yogurt  and fresh fruits.

During the days, I felt good, I had energy as normal, and I really did enjoy cooking,  and all of the soups were absolutely delicious, I would recommend a good stock though, I got mine from Megamart, which was an organic stock with a very good flavor, called ‘Kallo’

I only lasted 7 days, which I was disappointed with, a girlfriend of mine returned after a 3 month vacation, so a girly night out at Hakkasan killed the diet, nevertheless, I will certainly be doing this again, and recommend it, as a challenge and a detox for your body, rather than a weightloss aid, I did however lose 2.8kg within the 7 days.

Disclaimer: I know you are smart enough that I don’t need to include this, but just for the record. I am not a medical professional and you should do this 10 day diet / detox at your own risk. Warning: eating healthy food for 10 days may make you feel better than you have ever felt before. You might want to eat this way for longer than 10 days and that is just fine with me. I think your doctor will approve too, but if you have any doubts, check and see 🙂

    This is probably my fave post! I just followed your diet plan silently and was so effective. Especially that my grandma came for a visit and she s very picky and sensitive when it come to food, so it was posted at the perfect time.. We both got the benefits of these healthy recipes..     I think it is a good habit if we keep having such healthy and delicious dishes and soups in our daily life even if we are not on diet.
