In the Changing Room > Bebe

I am not very body confident, after having 02 children, my body shape really seemed to change, so when it comes to tight dresses, I tend to feel very uncomfortable.

A friend of mine told me about  a couple of dresses she bought at Bebe for QR 99.00 each, so of course I had to get myself there to check out what bargains were left.

I am a lover of Black, so when I found a Hervé Léger style bandage dress, I had to try it on and the results were magical!

The 'Magic' Dress

The ‘Magic’ Dress

This dress really did pull in lumps and bumps, the material is light, and not heavy like alot of bandage style dresses, and I loved the sleeves, very flattering, for QR 99.00 it was certainly a bargain buy, and a classic!

Are you a fan of bandage style dresses?

Based in Qatar, for the past 14 years, originally from the UK, born & bred in Newcastle, UK. Mum of 2 wicked boys and a beautiful little girl. I adore good food, good fashion and beauty product obsessed. Love women who come together instead of against each other.

This is my favourite post and the reason is – Kellie is one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen but also has a little uncomfortable feeling when it comes to her body. I find it refreshing that she admits it with a smile, and finds a resolution with a simple yet gorgeous dress. We all feel uncomfortable or unhappy with some part of our bodies. Find what suits your figure, love what you have, hide what you don’t 🙂

Always great when you find something that makes you feel confident! You look great.

Any advice for someone larger & curvier? I am on the hunt for a simple LBD, but the shops only seem to carry two extremes this season: extremely figure hugging (not great for my tummy/legs), or way too baggy (looks like I’m wearing a pillowcase). 🙁 I am going to be attending a lot of friends’ weddings, etc over the next few months so I am hoping to find one dress to carry me through most of the events. If anyone has ideas I’d love to hear them. Despite the number of malls in Doha I still find shopping a huge challenge!

      Hello 🙂
I would strongly suggest you head to H&M in Villagio, and search for the Midi Dresses / Skirts, these are very flattering for curvier ladies, they make your waist look smaller and makes you look taller, check out the latest post with some options for skirts, if you check out the Hyatt post, you can see me wearing one of these dresses from H&M its black and white x
