Last year I visited the W Doha, Bliss Spa for a Facial with Celebrity Facialist Su-Man, since meeting her and listening to her advice and her ‘Secret to youthful skin’ I totally turned around my Skin Care regime, the results over the year have been amazing to say the least.

The Secret to fresh Youthful looking skin is… Facial Massage!
Forget Botox and other facial injections, Facial Massages can work as an alternative to facial injections and really can help with boosting muscle tone and blood flow to the skin and most importantly preserving youth!

I make sure I give myself a good facial massage EVERY night before bed, I start by cleansing my face with a Soap Free wash, I am currently using Himalaya Herbals Neem wash, after drying, I take 5 minutes to massage my face, I start with my Moisturiser dot it on my cheeks forehead and chin, and using both hands, I start to rub it firmly into my skin I use circular motions, I drum my fingers on my cheekbones and forehead, I must look like a total freek when doing the massage, but over the year, I have really seen the benefits!

Our facial muscles need just as much exercise as our body muscles, our facial muscles can become tight and tense with stress, massaging our face softens lines, and has seriously brightened up my complexion and helped keep spots at bay.
Taking 5 minutes a night to do this, will benefit you, no doubt.

Still slightly confused with how to do the massage? here are some tips:

1. Start on the cheeks. Draw big circles using your fingers or knuckles, moving upward.

2. On one side of the face at a time, rub from the mid-jaw to the cheekbone with long upward strokes, pressing firmly for a moment at the top.

3. Work smile lines with upward strokes, from the corners of the mouth to the corners of the nose.

4. With your fingers, lift and hold both brows to open up the eye area. Rub in a circle around the eye socket out to the temples, eventually expanding to include the forehead.

5. To plump lips, use thumbs and index fingers to quickly pluck all across the top and bottom lip, which stimulates blood flow.

I hope some of you give this a go, it costs nothing and will really with help you, let me know your thoughts below.

I was lucky then to stock up, I managed to buy 4 of the moisturisers, which will last till I go back to the UK… they always remove the best products! such a shame.
