The Top FIVE Skirts you should own.

The little black dress is a wardrobe staple that nobody ignores, however skirts can often be overlooked, despite the fact that their variety can provide you with plenty of awesome style options!
Check out these basic skirts below and see which works best for your body type…

The Pencil Skirt:
I love pencil skirts, I find them very versatile, to wear for work as a corporate style, or funked up for a girls night out! pencil skirts are usually knee-length and form fitting, pencil skirts are definitely amongst the skirts you should own, they can also be very flattering for most body types.

The A Line Skirt:
With a fitted waist, A-line skirts slowly widen towards the hem for a shape that resembles the letter A, also called a princess skirt, this skirt comes in many styles, from knee to ankle length.
Flattering to all body types, an A-line skirt can add curves for slim women with a straight figure, but they’re also a great choice for plus-size women since it puts emphasis on the waist and hides the hips.

The Midi Skirt:
This is my all time Favourite!
This may be the most flattering trend of all time! A midi skirt is a skirt that hits right below the knee, which creates an illusion of a taller, more slender body, A midi skirt can come in endless styles options, bodycon, pencil, fit-and-flare, and ballerina to name but a few.

The Maxi Skirt:
This ankle-length skirt is best worn when it starts at your natural waistline, however it also comes in more casual versions which start below the belly button. Petite women can also go for a high waist to look taller. While straight and narrow fitted is the main look of the maxi skirts, you can also go for a flared version which I prefer and find more ‘Boho Chic’

The Pleated Skirt:
A brilliant skirt to own! pleated skirts can be very flattering for your waistline, while also giving you more space to move than a pencil skirt, Keep it shorter if you’re looking for a casual look or go for ankle-length for a more corporate look.

What is your Favourite Style of skirt?
All of the skirts posted are easily available here in Qatar in most highstreet stores, I also find excellent options from ASOS

Based in Qatar, for the past 14 years, originally from the UK, born & bred in Newcastle, UK. Mum of 2 wicked boys and a beautiful little girl. I adore good food, good fashion and beauty product obsessed. Love women who come together instead of against each other.
